ASSORTED COLLAGES

"Theater of the Mind"

This collage was created as an illustration for the article "Nobody in Here Now but Us 'Neos': A Neo-Jungian Perspective on Neoshamanism's Inner Journey" (by Daniel C. Noel), published in Witchcraft and Shamanism, Book III of the Witchcraft Today Series [Chas S. Clifton, editor; Llewellyn Publications].

The four b/w illustrations I created for the book began as full-color collages composed from magazine cut-outs and affixed to heavyweight paper. The collages were photocopied and printed as grayscale images, then enhanced with black and white ink applied directly onto the print. (This was before the days of home computers, scanners and graphics software.)
