Ancestral Notes Posters

These are the captions that go with the images in the Ancestral Notes poster series:
#AN1: I had this dream: Death was a wall. That is, a wall separated Life and Death. I determined to look over the wall to see Death.
#AN2: "Moon splinters indeed! This desert sand is nothing but bone dust!"
#AN3: "And hearing of her plight, the queen gave her letters so she could name her pain."
#AN4: Here in my family's house, I must acknowledge that wherever I might be going, this will always be where I come from.
#AN5: Are we to blame if these miscreant curls / Will sometimes tickle the nose of an old Rabbi / Dozing over his prayerbook?
#AN6: ...I realized that the dark landscape around me was an ocean.
#AN7: ...He remains in the tree / The long summer dusk soothing him / The cool broad linden leaves brushing his cheeks / So hot from exertion / Stars appear...
#AN8: "Buying and selling is not so bad. It could be worse. But it would be better to have a craft..."
#AN9: In the dream I was descending a stair. A musty smell wafted up to me and immediately I caught sight of old leather-bound books lining the walls of the room below.
